Betatar Gel Shampoo is specially formulated to treat Psoriasis, Seborrheic Dermatitis and dandruff. Betatar Gel Shampoo contains 12.5% Coal Tar Solution which helps separate and dissolve the hard scaly skin on the scalp and then build up and repair the scalp. Betatar Gel Shampoo is formulated with a gentle shampoo base that provides excellent lathering capabilities. It’s high concentration of tar makes Betatar Gel Shampoo highly effective while less likely to yellow the scalp or hair than other similar formulas but care should be taken in determining how long the shampoo remains in contact with the scalp. PLEASE NOTE: Using Betatar Gel Shampoo increases susceptibility to sunburn after use, take precautions while exposed to sunlight. Individuals with light colored hair (including blond, white or gray) should use Betatar Gel Shampoo sparingly.
